Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced care in critical settings, including ventilator management, medication administration, and comprehensive patient assessment.

You will independently handle complex cases, collaborate with healthcare teams, and educate patients, families, and staff, contributing to high-quality respiratory care and ongoing performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, including aerosolized medications, airway management, and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Manage mechanical ventilators, perform weaning, and interpret waveforms.
• Educate patients and mentor new employees, students, and peers.
• Support a safe environment by ensuring accurate documentation, promoting patient safety, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures and pulmonary testing as needed.
