Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care in critical settings, including ventilator management and airway procedures, while educating patients and families.

The role requires an accredited RT program graduate (associate degree required, bachelor's preferred), 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in ICU, and current RRT with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP instructor certs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with science coursework; Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Respiratory Care Practitioner certification required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and instructor certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, interpret waveforms, and perform airway procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments, collaborate on care planning, and educate patients and their support systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation, promote safety protocols, and support quality improvement efforts.
• Mentor and precept new staff, students, and peers.
• Participate in invasive and diagnostic procedures as needed and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
