Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver complex respiratory care in critical care settings. You will manage ventilators, airway care, and aerosolized medications while assessing patients and adjusting plans accordingly.

Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. You will educate patients and families, mentor peers, and uphold safety standards and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP certification required upon hire.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care including ventilator management and airway care.
• Perform assessments, interpret waveforms, and manage invasive/non-invasive procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for care planning.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students.
• Maintain safety and quality initiatives in the unit.
