Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. You will assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders, initiate ventilator protocols, and provide advanced airway care. NICU duties include surfactant delivery and assisting high-risk deliveries.

Sign‑on and relocation bonuses may be offered. The role requires at least an Associate degree in respiratory therapy, NBRC certification, and licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• NBRC certification is required or preferred.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Initiate ventilator protocols and coordinate ventilator management.
• Perform advanced airway care including tracheotomy changes, extubation and intubation.
• Initiate/high-frequency ventilator support.
• In NICU, deliver surfactant, intubate and assist high‑risk deliveries.
