Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. You will initiate ventilator protocols, manage advanced airway care, and support NICU procedures as needed.

The position offers shift differentials, sign-on/relocation options, and opportunities for career ladder advancement with ongoing education and certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license (NBRC).
• ACLS and/or PALS certification.
• Six months to one year of experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Initiate and monitor ventilator protocols and high-frequency ventilation.
• Assist bronchoscopy procedures and administer sedation as needed.
• Provide advanced airway care including tracheotomy changes, extubation and intubation.
• Initiate and monitor Nitric Oxide delivery.
