UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the clinical care team. This full-time role supports patients across all ages, applying medications, ventilation support, airway care, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation within the Respiratory Care department.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years of critical care preferred, an accredited respiratory care credential, Texas license, NBRC RRT, and BLS; NRP is required for NICU work.

Formación

• Two years of critical care experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program (A.A.S or higher).
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the NBRC (RRT).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification required for NICU worksites.

Responsabilidades

• Administer respiratory therapies per department policies and assess patient plans.
• Perform procedures and operate equipment with high expertise.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and therapies; educate patients and families.
• Accurate EMR documentation and order management; SBAR reporting.
• Attend department and town hall meetings; adhere to attendance policies.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; report issues to biomed when needed.
