Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for NICU nights to join our clinical care team. This full-time role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and families to provide expert cardiopulmonary care to neonates in the NICU.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of critical care experience, NBRC-registered, Texas license, BLS, and NRP, with a NICU background preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of critical care experience preferred.
• A.A.S in Respiratory Care required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board and NBRC-registered (RRT); BLS and NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapies per policy; assess patient and plan care.
• Write procedures or in-services as needed; operate equipment skillfully.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and medications; educate families.
