Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care in ER, ICU, and Med-Surg, including mechanical ventilation, ABGs, and neonatal support.

You will perform assessments, manage equipment, and educate patients and families; required credentials include RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS, plus an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.
• Experience in neonatal respiratory care or department orientation with validated competencies.
• RRT certification and state licensure required; BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and general and critical care respiratory procedures in ER, ICU, and Med-Surg.
• Provides respiratory care including mechanical ventilation, ABG analysis, oxygen therapy, and education for patients and families.

Responsibilities

Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas.

Education

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

Work Experience

• Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and
