Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our high-acuity team. You will perform patient assessments, provide general and critical care respiratory procedures, and support newborns in Labor and Delivery, in addition to blood gas analysis and equipment management.

This role emphasizes teamwork across ER, ICU, and Med-Surg, with opportunities to educate patients and families and to grow within a supportive community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• Neonatal respiratory care experience or department orientation with competency validation required.
• RRT certification and state license required; BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas.

Work Experience

• Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level Required

Licenses and Certifications
