Job summary

Piedmont Walton Hospital in Monroe, GA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a high-acuity team serving patients from newborns to adults. You will work in the ER, ICU, and Med-Surg, handling mechanical ventilation, ABGs, oxygen therapy, EKGs, and related procedures.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, neonatal care experience or orientation, and active credentials: RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS upon hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas.

Qualifications:

Education

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

Work Experience

• Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and
