Ochsner Health System Careers seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide RT-CRT services, oxygen therapy, diagnostics, and ventilation support for diverse patient ages in our hospital network in Louisiana.

Responsibilities include performing therapeutic procedures, documenting clinical data, and educating patients and staff, with attention to safety and policy adherence. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree; bachelor's preferred.
• Must hold current Respiratory Therapist license in state of practice.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory procedures per policy.
• Review and document all clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and adapt care to patient age.
