Job summary

Stand Together Ventures Lab is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver complex respiratory care in critical settings, manage ventilators, and administer medications as prescribed. You will assess patients, interpret waveforms, and support families while mentoring newer staff.

The role requires NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS on hire, with 0–2 years in clinical care and at least 6 months in ICU contexts. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and aerosolized medication delivery.
• Perform assessments, interpret waveforms, and analyze arterial blood gases.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems; mentor and precept new staff and students.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure safe, high-quality care by maintaining accurate documentation, promoting safety protocols, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, and participate in pulmonary diagnostics.
• Promote a positive team environment and support staff development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelors preferred.
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS (all required upon hire).
• 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
