Job summary

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS are required.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, verify orders, and deliver aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and medical gases.
• Manage ventilators, including weaning and waveform interpretation, and airway care (intubation/tracheostomy as indicated).
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems; mentor new staff and students; participate in procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Collaborate with care team for planning and ensuring high-quality, safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Promote accurate documentation, medication safety, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
• Support a positive team environment and foster professional development.
