Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Kings Mountain, NC seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join the 36402 Atrium Health Kings Mountain - Respiratory Therapy Services. The role provides oxygen delivery, ventilator support, and diagnostic procedures, with a 36-hour workweek and a dayshift that includes rotating weekends.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus; requires NBRC-credential as RRT, State license, and an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy (BSRT preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent experience).
• BA/BS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and related equipment for prescribed therapies.
• Administers and evaluates respiratory procedures and their effects.
• Operates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
