Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a part-time Respiratory Therapist to support respiratory therapy services during night shifts (7p-7a). The role offers a sign-on bonus eligibility and a pay range of $30.70–$46.05 per hour.

Candidates must be an NBRC-credentialed RRT and licensed in the state, with an associate degree in respiratory therapy and BLS certification. Experience in critical care is preferred; familiarity with EMR systems and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by NBRC.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of work.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and equipment; performs prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve oxygenation.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and conducts diagnostic procedures as per policy.
• Initiates and manages mechanical and non-invasive ventilation; aware of critical care duties.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations on plans of care and patient education.
• Documents therapy and results; communicates with the healthcare team.
