Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Baldwin Respiratory Therapy Services team. The role involves delivering prescribed oxygen and ventilation therapies, monitoring patient response, and communicating with physicians and nurses to optimize care.

The position requires RRT credential and state licensure, with potential for advancement. This on-site role supports a dynamic hospital environment with emphasis on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy. Associate’s degree required (or equivalent). BA/BS preferred.
• RRT credential and state licensure required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience in critical care and diverse patient care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and equipment for prescribed therapies.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and conducts diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Operates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators and related therapy.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes care plan recommendations.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the health care team.
