Requirements include NBRC credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), active state license, BLS, and at least 2 years in critical care.

Qualifikationen

• Must be Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC and licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/LRT in the state.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association required.
• Advanced certification per facility/department.

Aufgaben

• Administers respiratory therapies and monitors oxygen delivery and ventilation according to physician orders and protocols.
• Initiates, adjusts, and evaluates mechanical and non-invasive ventilation therapies.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and blood gas analysis as required.
• Maintains readiness and safety of respiratory care equipment and adheres to regulatory requirements.
