Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for the team.

Shift is one 8-hour period on weekdays or nights; eligible for shift differential. ACLS preferred; PALS may be required for ER staff; strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must graduate from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; PALS may be required in ER.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on effectiveness of therapy and patient response.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care; perform duties as assigned.
