The role involves consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff. Requirements include graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential (PALS for ER staff).

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC.
• PALS is required for ER coworkers.

Responsabilités

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care under physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff.
