Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across respiratory services, under physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and support physicians and nursing staff as an advanced resource.

Preferred ACLS; PALS for ER staff. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a caring, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Certifications: RRT credential (NBRC).
• Other: Physical demands include lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, pinch up to 10 lbs, kneel, crouch, crawl.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in respiratory care per physician orders and consults on therapy effectiveness.
• Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
