Job summary

Advocate Health’s Pineville Respiratory Therapy team seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist. You will administer oxygenation therapies, operate ventilators, monitor patients, document outcomes, and coordinate with the care team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires AMA-approved training, RRT credential, BLS, and a state license. Night shift with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associate's RRT or RRT equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Credentialed as an RRT and licensed in state where applicable.
• BLS required; advanced certifications per policy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and equipment.
• Administers and evaluates prescribed respiratory procedures and therapy results.
• Operates mechanical and non-invasive ventilators and monitors patient response.
• Evaluates therapies and makes care-plan recommendations with the team.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with healthcare staff.
