Job Description:

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shift: Rotating (8 hrs) Varied shifts

Pay Range: $2450.00- $2550.00 Weekly DOE

Overview

Our facility is seeking to hire a licensed respiratory therapist to add to our ever-expanding staff of competent healthcare professionals. Duties will include setting up and operating devices such as therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators, providing emergency care, such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, or assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and maintaining charts that contain patient identification and therapy information.

Required Skills:

• Monitor patient responses to therapy (e.g., ABGs, vitals, lung function) and report adverse reactions.
• Assist physicians during procedures and collaborate with the care team.
• Set up and operate respiratory equipment (ventilators, gas systems, aerosol generators).
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment.
• Record and update patient therapy charts and data.
• Analyze ABGs and pulmonary function; communicate results to physicians.
• Educate patients on procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
• Certification and License: BLS and Active Ohio Respiratory Care license (no pending/in-process licenses accepted)
