Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to lead patient assessments and design personalized care plans. You will manage advanced respiratory treatments and life-support equipment to ensure stability for patients with breathing challenges.

You will educate patients and families, supporting them in managing their health journey, and act as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team for rapid interventions in critical moments.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed by OK Board required.
• NBRC Registered credential required before hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional letter will be accepted until license is issued.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
