Qualifications

• Respiratory Practitioner credentialed from Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision required before hire or transfer date.
• NBRC Registered credential required before hire or transfer date.
• BLS Provider or Instructor in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date (AHA or ARC accepted).

Responsibilities

• Lead patient assessments to design personalized care plans for respiratory needs.
• Manage advanced respiratory treatments and life-support equipment.
• Educate patients and families to empower health management.
• Support life-saving efforts as a key member of the emergency resuscitation team.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Respiratory Care Practitioner temporary/provisional license will be accepted until license is issued.
  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education
