Ascension Owasso is seeking a PRN Night Shift Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to lead the care journey, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure top-quality outcomes.

You will document changes, execute orders accurately, and coordinate nursing care across disciplines to support safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns. This role supports the hospital's mission and offers meaningful growth in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• RN licensed and diploma/licensure at hire
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
• Active Oklahoma RN license required prior to hire date

• Essential Communication: Accurately record, track, and effectively communicate changes in patient condition and progress to the entire interdisciplinary team, ensuring proactive and timely interventions.
• Precision and Execution: Flawlessly note and carry out physician and advanced practice provider orders, maintaining adherence to clinical protocols and playing a critical role in the delivery of treatment.
• Interdisciplinary Orchestration: Act as the primary coordinator for all clinical disciplinesâfrom physical therapy to social work and pharmacyâto ensure seamless, cohesive, and collaborative patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
