Norton Healthcare in Worthington, KY is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on image quality and safety. You will prepare patients, position them, operate imaging equipment, and respond to questions while maintaining standards.

The role includes supervising students and adhering to radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance procedures. Licensure with ARRT-R is required or ROT with ARRT-R eligibility; relocation and tuition

Formación

• RO and ARRT-R licensure required.
• ROT option with ARRT-R prior to expiration.
• One year in general radiography desired.
• Knowledge of patient positioning, radiation safety, infection control.

Responsibilities

The Registered Radiology Technologist utilizes imaging, computer and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high quality diagnostic images which meet or exceed department, organizational and industry standards. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. Applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure, educates and responds to questions or concerns. Ensures age appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education and principles of physical/functional growth and development. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Oversees and trains students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
