Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Science.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy.
• Experience reading and interpreting radiology orders.
• Experience working with PACS.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs radiological (X-ray) imaging.
• Reads and comprehends imaging orders, engaging with physician when order is unclear, complex or warrants deeper review.
• Interviews patients to understand risk factors that may warrant a more in-depth examination for safety.
• Guides patients through the examination, explains the exam, and maintains patient comfort.
• Uploads imaging results into PACS and records in the EMR system.
