Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging under supervision, interview patients, and ensure safe use of equipment to support accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities include selecting scanning protocols, reviewing orders, uploading results to PACS, and documenting in the EMR. EPIC experience is preferred. Onsite, 40 hours weekly, day shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRt.
• Knowledge of human anatomy gained through education or experience.
• Experience reading radiology orders.
• Experience with PACS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs radiological (X-ray) imaging.
• Reads and comprehends imaging orders and selects appropriate protocols.
• Interviews patients to assess risk factors for safety.
• Guides patients through examinations and explains the procedure.
• Uploads imaging results to PACS and records in EMR.
