Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging and support diagnostic procedures. You will interview patients, select imaging protocols, ensure safety, and document results in EMR and PACS. The role requires ARRT registration and an accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.

The position is onsite at Pardee UNC Health Care with a 40-hour week and a late afternoon shift (Mon-Fri 2:00 pm–10:30 pm). EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Registration as Radiological Technologist with ARRT.
• Solid understanding of human anatomy from education or experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting radiology orders.
• Experience working with PACS/EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs radiologic (X-ray) imaging.
• Reads imaging orders and consults with physician as needed; selects scanning protocols.
• Interviews patients to assess risk factors for safety.
• Guides patients through examinations with clear explanations and reassurance.
• Uploads imaging results to PACS and records to EMR.
