Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Science.
• Five years of experience in a clinical imaging role.
• Registration as Radiological Technologist with ARRT.
• Good understanding of human anatomy.
• Experience reading and interpreting radiology orders.
• Experience working with PACS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs radiological (X-ray) imaging.
• Reads and comprehends imaging orders; selects protocols and parameters using anatomy knowledge.
• Interviews patients to assess risk factors for safe imaging.
• Uploads imaging results into PACS and records in EMR.
• Guides patients through examinations with clear explanations and calm demeanor.
• Precepts entry-level staff and coordinates patient flow with colleagues.
