Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging and ensure safe, accurate exams. You will read orders, select protocols, and operate PACS/EMR systems while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

You will also supervise entry-level staff and coordinate patient flow with the radiology team. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Science program, ARRT registration, and at least five years in a clinical imaging

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiological Science program.
Five years of experience in a clinical imaging role.
Registration as Radiological Technologist by ARRT.
Strong understanding of human anatomy.
Experience reading and interpreting radiology orders.
Experience using PACS.

Responsibilities

Prepares and performs radiological (X-ray) imaging.
Reads and comprehends imaging orders, reviewing with physician when unclear; selects scanning protocols and parameters.
Interviews patients to understand risk factors for safety.
Uploads imaging results into PACS and records info into EMR.
Guides patients through examinations, explaining the process and calming the patient.
Precepts entry-level staff and assists in planning patient flow.
