We are hiring a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) for one of our clients in Harrisburg, PA.

Job Description

1. Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
2. Build profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs including immunizations, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), DCS (Diabetes Care Specialist), and other ongoing programs.
3. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and healthcare counseling.
4. Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support staff on duty.
5. Assist the Pharmacy Manager in training, coaching, and managing pharmacy staff.
6. Take management responsibility for the pharmacy in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
7. Maintain security of the Pharmacy department.
8. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
9. Handle customer issues, complaints, and questions to foster trust and loyalty.
10. Interact with physicians and use reference materials to resolve issues related to prescriptions and customer information.
11. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Pharmacy department.
12. Prioritize tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer calls to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience with Pharmacy Technicians and Cashiers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (Pharm.D.), or equivalent in Pharmacy, with Immunization Certification from an accredited organization such as APhA.

Work Hours & Shift

• Shift: First Shift
• Hours: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Days: Sunday through Saturday
• Meal break: 30 minutes
