We are hiring a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) for a position in Sinking Spring, PA.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:

1. Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, compliant with state and federal regulations.
2. Build profitable business and script growth through recommended clinical programs including immunizations, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), DCS (Diabetes Care Specialist), and other ongoing programs.
3. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and healthcare counseling.
4. Supervise work of Pharmacy Technicians and support staff during shifts.
5. Assist the Pharmacy Manager in training, coaching, and managing pharmacy staff.
6. Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
7. Maintain security of the pharmacy department.
8. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
9. Handle customer issues, complaints, and questions to foster trust and loyalty.
10. Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
11. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
12. Prioritize and complete department tasks timely, including inventory management and customer calls.

Qualifications

Includes supervision of pharmacy staff, with responsibilities for hiring, training, and performance management.

• Bachelor’s degree (BS), Pharm.D., or equivalent in Pharmacy.
• Immunization Certification from an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).

Work Hours & Shift

• First shift: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute meal break
