Job description

We are seeking a motivated and flexible retail pharmacist to float across locations in the Harrisburg and York, PA markets. This is a direct hire opportunity for a licensed pharmacist ready to contribute to multiple teams while ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care across sites.

Position Overview:
This pharmacist will rotate through variable day and afternoon shifts, supporting pharmacy operations in different stores as needed. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, managing inventory levels, performing immunizations, and stepping into leadership roles when the pharmacy manager is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support inventory control by monitoring weekly sales trends and managing medication orders to optimize stock levels.

  • Accurately compound, fill, and dispense prescriptions and provide recommendations for OTC products.

  • Deliver immunization services routinely as part of patient care.

  • Supervise pharmacy staff, assign tasks, and uphold workflow efficiency in the absence of the pharmacy manager.

  • Maintain clear communication with healthcare professionals, insurance providers, and patients to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Requirements:

  • Active and clear Pennsylvania Pharmacist license

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

  • Pennsylvania Immunization Certification required

  • Minimum one year of recent retail pharmacy experience

  • Willingness to travel between locations and adapt quickly to new environments
