Job description

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Columbus, Ohio. This is a 13-week contract to hire position at a busy community health center pharmacy. The pharmacist will be responsible for delivering specialized pharmaceutical care with a strong focus on HIV/AIDS treatment and 340B program support.

Position details:
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Setting: 13-week contract to hire
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 7:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Provide superior customer service to patients, providers, and community members
Collaborate with providers to optimize patient outcomes and therapeutic regimens
Participate in managing pharmacy technicians and 340B program implementation
Deliver specialized care, including adherence programs, disease management, and immunization services
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and precautions
Work with case managers and support staff to ensure consistent patient medication access
Support internal marketing of pharmacy services to increase patient engagement
Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws
Participate in pharmacy service development and expansion
Support student pharmacists and promote a collaborative healthcare environment
Other duties as assigned by pharmacy leadership

Requirements:
Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio
At least 3 years of experience in a 340B or health clinic pharmacy setting highly preferred
Experience with HIV/AIDS medications and patient assistance resources
Strong clinical background and customer-focused mindset
