Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Gray, TN seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab services to patients referred by physicians, in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires NBCOT certification on hire, active state licensure, and completion of an accredited OT program. Experience is preferred but new grads are welcome; CPR certification is required by orientation and maintained during employment, with strong teamwork and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire.
• Active state license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• CPR certification upon hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement occupational therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, timely goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Maintain accurate charting in a timely manner.
• Utilize therapy software effectively and accurately.
• Communicate professionally within an interdisciplinary team.
