Job summary

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Active state licensure with good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification upon hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan patient needs.
• Follow/maintain body mechanics and safety practices.
• Make independent decisions when warranted by circumstances.
• Understand and follow laws, regulations, and Life Care standards in post-acute care.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and policies.
• Provide OT services per established treatment plans and patient goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with staff and vendors.
