Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care under physician referrals, adhering to all Life Care standards and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes collaboration with the care team, adherence to treatment plans, and patient-centered service in a post-acute setting.

Qualified candidates hold NBCOT certification, an accredited OT degree (BSOT/MSOT), and active state licensure, with CPR currency.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• BSOT or MSOT degree from an accredited OT program.
• Active state license in good standing.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation; must remain current.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans for patients (ADLs).
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
