Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the wound care team.

You will deliver specialized wound care, implementing personalized treatment plans to accelerate healing and improve patients’ quality of life. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure advanced therapies, consults, and patient goals stay aligned, while assessing healing progress and adjusting care promptly.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license is required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.

• Deliver specialized wound care by implementing and adapting personalized treatment plans to accelerate healing and enhance quality of life.

• Deliver specialized wound care by implementing and adapting personalized treatment plans to accelerate healing and enhance quality of life.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to ensure advanced therapies, specialty consults and patient goals stay fully aligned.
• Assess ongoing healing progress by evaluating skin and tissue conditions in real-time to adjust care protocols promptly.
• Empower home management and discharge by educating patients and families on proper dressing changes, infection prevention and long-term recovery strategies.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
