Job summary

Asante in Grants Pass, Oregon, is seeking an experienced oncology nurse for a part-time, 0.8 FTE role. The position supports cancer care teams with patient education, assessments, and chemotherapy guidance, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, at least 1 year of nursing experience in fast-paced settings, and ideally completes ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy training. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a fast paced and team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or above preferred.
• Successful completion of ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and educate patients and families.

SalaryRange: $53.9900- $77.79

Shift Differentials:

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

What You Must Have

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a fast paced and team environment, i.e. Inpatient or Outpatient setting, is required.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or abovepreferred.
• Successful completion of ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy coursepreferred.

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse by the Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.

Preferred Certifications

• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
• CRNI: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion
• OCN: Oncology Certified Nurse
