Job summary

Asante is hiring a Nurse Navigator to coordinate diagnostic and treatment processes and provide follow-up care at assigned facilities. You will guide patients and families through the continuum of care and collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality nursing support.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN) with at least 3 years of bedside nursing, BLS certification, and Oregon licensure, with Oncology certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or equivalent) is required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including bedside patient care.

Starting Wage for this exempt position: $102,606.40-$141,107.20, depending on experience

Position Summary

The Nurse Navigator coordinates diagnostic and treatment processes and follows up at assigned Asante facility(s). Guides patients and their families through the continuum of care and collaborative process with medical care providers and ancillary support programs. They act as a central point of contact for all medical care providers working with the patient, and facilitate evidence-based nursing care. They assess educational needs and design, teach, and/or coordinate educational programs for patients, families, and the community.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required
• Master’s Degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including bedside patient care, is required

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
• OCN: Oncology Certified Nurse by Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) is preferred
• ONN-CG: Oncology Nurse Navigator Certified Generalist by the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators (AONN) is preferred
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification is preferred
