Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health, including Jersey Shore University Medical Center, is seeking nurses to join our team. We require a New Jersey nursing license and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire, with a minimum 6 months of nursing experience or participation in our Nurse Residency program.

Telemetry/Med-Surg experience and ACLS are preferred. BSN in progress or willingness to pursue within 3 years is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or be an active participant in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• 1 year of telemetry or med/surg nursing experience preferred.
• Telemetry/ACLS certification preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability for improving patients’ lives, excellent teamwork, and commitment to ongoing education are required.
