Job summary

St. Luke’s Boise Telemetry units are seeking registered nurses to join our team on a full-time, part-time, or flex basis. The 3 Tele and 7 Tele units provide cardiac telemetry and medical telemetry care in a 20-bed and 35-bed setting.

You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to patient-centered care. Qualifications include a Nursing Degree, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. We offer certification pay and opportunities for sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance for eligible

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience (Highly preferred: Three (3) + years' RN experience)
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure and BLS certification from approved bodies

Responsibilities

• Provide highly skilled acute nursing care on Boise Telemetry Units (3 Tele and 7 Tele)
• Deliver patient-centered care focused on teamwork and clinical excellence
• Participate in unit care plans and maintain critical thinking under pressure
• Advise on certifications and pursue professional development with unit leadership

Boise Telemetry includes both Telemetry Units, 3 Tele and 7 Tele. 3 Tele, a Cardiac Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with primary cardiac diagnosis and procedures. 7 Tele, a Medical Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with acute and chronic complex medical diagnosis including procedural overflow.

The Boise Telemetry Units contribute to the mission and vision of the medical center by providing highly skilled acute nursing care to our community. Our nursing staff value teamwork, excellence in their work, and caring for their patients. Nursing on 7 Tele and on 3 Tele requires a strong work ethic, resilience, and strong critical thinking skills. We enjoy supporting and mentoring nurses in all stages of their career.

What You Can Expect:

• Full-time (0.9 FTE), Part-time (0.6 FTE), or Flex option
  • Full-time; 3 x 12-hour shifts a week
  • Part-time; 2 x 12-hour shifts a week
  • Flex; 1 to 2 x 12-hour shifts a pay period
• Certification pay (ex. PCCN, CVRN/CMSRN)
• You will see a little bit of everything, our unit is a great place for nurses to gain knowledge and master skills
  • 3 Tele; 20-bed unit: Pacemakers & ICDs, OHS / MVR / TAVR, STEMI (STENTS), Cardiothoracic Surgeries, TAVR, A-FIB Ablations, WATCHMANS, and VATS
  • 7 Tele; 35-bed unit: CHF, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, CVA, Electrolyte Imbalances, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Hypoxia, Rhabdo, Cath Lab, and EP Lab overflow
• Sign-on bonus available for eligible full-time and part-time new hires (*additional Relocation assistance available for eligible full-time new hires)

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience (Highly preferred: Three (3) + years' RN experience)
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
