Ambercare Hospice in Silver City, NM is seeking an experienced RN Team Manager to lead our hospice clinical team and provide clinical oversight to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

As part of the Addus HomeCare family, you will mentor staff, drive quality initiatives, and foster a collaborative environment, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and a on-call component to support patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in practicing state.
• Minimum five years as a healthcare professional; including two years in supervisory roles.
• Strong administrative abilities and knowledge of healthcare policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a clinical team of 8–10 direct reports (RNs, HHAs, and assistants).
• Participate in shared on-call rotation for patient and staff support.
• Oversee delivery of patient services and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet program objectives.
• Manage scheduling, supervision, and ongoing education for staff.
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program and QA staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records compliant with regulations.

What Youll Do

• As an RN Team Manager youll lead and mentor a dedicated clinical team of 8 10 direct reports including RN Case Managers Home Health Aides and Clinical Team Assistants while helping drive exceptional patient care and team development
• This role also includes participation in a shared on call rotation providing a balanced approach to leadership responsibilities and ensuring continued support for patients families and staff
• Oversee delivery of patient services and compliance with agency policies
• Develop policies procedures and guidelines to fulfill program objectives
• Oversee scheduling supervision and on going educational programs for all professional and paraprofessional staff providing direct patient services
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise designated QA staff
• Oversee the maintenance of medical records assuring accuracy completeness and compliance with licensing regulations certification standards legal and ethical standards
• Plan and implement staff education program for all team members

Qualifications

• Possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse or the equivalent license and education to practice as a healthcare professional in the practicing state
• Minimum five years experience as a healthcare professional; including two years of supervisory experience in healthcare homecare or hospice
• Demonstrated administrative ability including knowledge of health care policies and program responsibilities
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance is required
• Must possess current CPR Certification
