Ambercare Hospice in Silver City, NM is seeking an experienced RN Team Manager to lead a dedicated hospice care team and provide clinical oversight. This role focuses on delivering exceptional end-of-life care, mentoring staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving quality initiatives.

The position offers a competitive salary with a bonus opportunity up to 15% of base salary, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the practicing state.
• Minimum five years in healthcare with supervision experience.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a clinical team of 8–10 direct reports including RNs, case managers, and aides.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation.
• Oversee delivery of patient services and compliance with agency policies.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to meet program objectives.
• Oversee scheduling, supervision, and ongoing staff education for clinical staff.
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise QA staff.
• Oversee medical records accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and implement staff education programs for all team members.

What Youll Do

• As an RN Team Manager youll lead and mentor a dedicated clinical team of 8 10 direct reports including RN Case Managers Home Health Aides and Clinical Team Assistants while helping drive exceptional patient care and team development
• This role also includes participation in a shared on call rotation providing a balanced approach to leadership responsibilities and ensuring continued support for patients families and staff
• Oversee delivery of patient services and compliance with agency policies
• Develop policies procedures and guidelines to fulfill program objectives
• Oversee scheduling supervision and on going educational programs for all professional and paraprofessional staff providing direct patient services
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise designated QA staff
• Oversee the maintenance of medical records assuring accuracy completeness and compliance with licensing regulations certification standards legal and ethical standards
• Plan and implement staff education program for all team members

Qualifications

• Possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse or the equivalent license and education to practice as a healthcare professional in the practicing state
• Minimum five years experience as a healthcare professional; including two years of supervisory experience in healthcare homecare or hospice
• Demonstrated administrative ability including knowledge of health care policies and program responsibilities
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance is required
• Must possess current CPR Certification
