Job summary

Ambercare Hospice, part of the Addus HomeCare family, seeks an experienced RN Team Manager in Silver City, NM to lead a dedicated hospice care team. You will provide clinical oversight and mentor staff to ensure compassionate patient care and regulatory compliance.

In this leadership role, you’ll oversee 8–10 direct reports, participate in on-call rotations, and drive quality initiatives while maintaining operational excellence and a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in NM required.
• Minimum five years in healthcare; two years supervisory exp.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Must possess current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of patient services and ensure compliance with agency policies.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to fulfill program objectives.
• Oversee scheduling, supervision, and ongoing education for professional and paraprofessional staff.
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise QA staff.
• Maintain medical records with accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Plan and implement staff education programs for all team members.

This position offers a competitive annual salary plus a performance-based bonus opportunity of up to 15% of base salary, with additional earning potential tied to branch performance, quality outcomes, and organizational success. As an RN Team Manager, you'll lead and mentor a dedicated clinical team of 8-10 direct reports, including RN Case Managers, Home Health Aides, and Clinical Team Assistants, while helping drive exceptional patient care and team development. This role also includes participation in a shared on-call rotation, providing a balanced approach to leadership responsibilities and ensuring continued support for patients, families, and staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee delivery of patient services and compliance with agency policies
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to fulfill program objectives
• Oversee scheduling, supervision, and on-going educational programs for all professional and paraprofessional staff providing direct patient services
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise designated QA staff
• Oversee the maintenance of medical records, assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with licensing regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards
• Plan and implement staff education program for all team members

Qualifications:

• Possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse or the equivalent license and education to practice as a healthcare professional in the practicing state
• Minimum five years’ experience as a healthcare professional; including two years of supervisory experience in healthcare, homecare or hospice
• Demonstrated administrative ability including knowledge of health care policies and program responsibilities
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required
• Must possess current CPR Certification
