Ambercare Hospice in Silver City, NM is seeking an experienced RN Team Manager to lead a clinical hospice team. You will provide oversight, mentor staff, and drive quality initiatives to maintain exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a competitive annual salary with a bonus up to 15% of base salary, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. You will manage 8-10 direct reports and participate in shared on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in practicing state.
• Minimum five years’ experience as a healthcare professional; two years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Must possess current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of patient services and compliance with agency policies.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to fulfill program objectives.
• Oversee scheduling, supervision, and ongoing educational programs for all professional and paraprofessional staff.
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise designated QA staff.
• Oversee maintenance of medical records, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Plan and implement staff education programs for all team members.

This position offers a competitive annual salary plus a performance-based bonus opportunity of up to 15% of base salary, with additional earning potential tied to branch performance, quality outcomes, and organizational success. As an RN Team Manager, you'll lead and mentor a dedicated clinical team of 8-10 direct reports, including RN Case Managers, Home Health Aides, and Clinical Team Assistants, while helping drive exceptional patient care and team development. What You’ll Do:

• Oversee delivery of patient services and compliance with agency policies
• Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to fulfill program objectives
• Oversee scheduling, supervision, and on-going educational programs for all professional and paraprofessional staff providing direct patient services
• Implement and monitor a quality assurance program or supervise designated QA staff
• Oversee the maintenance of medical records, assuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with licensing regulations, certification standards, legal and ethical standards
• Plan and implement staff education program for all team members

Qualifications:

• Possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse or the equivalent license and education to practice as a healthcare professional in the practicing state
• Minimum five years’ experience as a healthcare professional; including two years of supervisory experience in healthcare, homecare or hospice
• Demonstrated administrative ability including knowledge of health care policies and program responsibilities
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required
• Must possess current CPR Certification
