Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) for the Evening Shift to lead clinical operations and nursing teams. This full-time role requires supervising staff, ensuring quality resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The RN will collaborate with physicians, residents, and families, oversee staffing, participate in care planning, and support onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing home experience.
• Current, active NY RN license.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing leadership with daily clinical operations and ensure quality resident care.
• Supervise nursing staff and promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and support effective shift operations.
• Conduct regular rounds to evaluate resident care and staff performance.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment procedures for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support care planning, resident assessments, and discharge coordination.
• Address employee concerns and promote a positive workplace environment.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation of new residents and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct nursing care and clinical support as needed.
• Assist with staff evaluations and performance improvement efforts.
