Job summary

M2 Healthcare's skilled nursing facility in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. The RN will lead the care team, assess residents, and coordinate services to meet medical and personal needs.

The ideal candidate is licensed in New York, has supervisory experience in long-term care, and holds or is pursuing an associates or bachelor's degree. Certification in nursing leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; licensed RN in NY.
• MDS and IV knowledge.
• Certification and supervisory skills preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years supervisory experience in Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Supervise and support a team of LPNs and CNAs to deliver optimal care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
• Educate residents and their families on health management, conditions, and treatments.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse Supervisor:
