Job summary

M2 HEALTHCARE LTD is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing staff at our skilled nursing facility. The RN will oversee care plans, med administration, and residents’ overall well-being in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Requirements include NY RN licensure, MDS knowledge, and five years of supervisory experience in long-term care. Certification and supervisory skills are preferred; Associates or Bachelor's degree are also preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse and currently licensed in New York as an RN.
• MDS knowledge and IV therapy familiarity.
• Certification and Supervisory skills preferred.
• Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five years supervisory experience in Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Supervise and support a team of LPNs and CNAs to deliver optimal care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
• Educate residents and families on health management, conditions, and treatments.
